Case Analysis on Management

The case involves Kimberly Brouchous who is in a difficult situation because of changed company policy. Because of worsening financial conditions the company is forcing district mangers to cut their sales personnel expense. This means that either Kimberly will have to fire someone or increase the sales quota before they get a commission, or do both. The situation is further complicated by two things. One is that one of her employees is within 6 months of retirement after 19 years of service and Kimberly was planning to hire another employee to replace him. Another is that Kimberly has just found out unofficially that one of her employees is planning to go on two months unpaid leave for health reasons.

The relevance of these verses of our topic is that because the concept of monotheism is so key to the Koran any kind of religious pluralism would only be acceptable to the Koran if the other religion being considered would stress thus equally on monotheism. Presumably as the previous part of the essay indicates to us that Koran accepts that Islam is the last in a line of religions of which Judaism and Christianity are part it would appear that the Koran would recognize monotheism as being an important part of these religions too. However this is where the difference emerges. Despite all of this the Koran identifies key differences between the three religions. As far as Christianity is concerned the Koran interprets trinity as a variation on the concept of monotheism and thereby making this religion unacceptable. The Koran says in reference to this.

The structure of the Quran is such that the basic division’s consist of verses, 114 surah’s and around 30 books. Verses are simply sentences while surah’s can be taken as essays dealing with various issues. In order to simplify the reading of the entire Quran it has been divided into 30 books which are referred to as ‘Sipara’s’ in Arabic. Surah 17 of the Quran is therefore just one part of the Quran, however it cannot be understood fully outside of the Quran. To understand this particular Surah (Sura – 17 The Children of Israel (Bani Israel) ) it is important to understand the history and structure of the Quran, how was it written, its structure and its importance historically and as a book of Faith.
