The senior management aims to redesign the office for the more effective implementation of the Km system, but it fails to recognize that the staff does not want a redesign (case study, p.5). On the other hand the staff fails to understand why the company’s management wants to redesign the offices and what its benefits are. The two groups are going along with their own objectives, rather putting them together under the company’s roof that is aimed towards the overall company’s profitability and its image as a KM system user.
