Statistics of female offenders also indicate the importance of relationships and the involvement in criminal activities that are the result of these relationships. Women are usually introduced to drugs by their partners, who continue to supply them with drugs. When these women want to quit providing drugs to their partners by money earned through prostitution or other illegal means usually are subject to beatings.
