Other individuals point out to the increase in binge drinking specially on college campuses in which students are engaging in consumption of hard liquor in unsupervised conditions. They use this observation to point out that 19, 20 year olds cannot handle alcohol, they are simply not responsible enough. However some experts give some reasons why  not lowering the drinking age may have worsened the situation. Essay: Issue of audit reporting

Another issue indicated by Mr. Nolan in the article was regarding the form of the audit report. This issue has the potential of being one of most important issue in audit all around the globe and the solution to this issue could change the overall understanding of the audit among the users of the financial statements. The issue raised was that the form of the audit report is very constrained by the auditing standards and the local regulatory authorities therefore the auditor cannot include a comprehensive narrative of the procedures performed in the audit report.

These countries were generally products of a colonial past and had constant financial and economic problems. Even now however the World Bank retained the focus that it had acquired as far as assistance went. The World Bank financed huge projects such as dams, roads and buildings.

Wolfe seems to support the thesis in his work that in the interplay between the dynamic American culture and religion, the former has prospered over the latter. This he further goes on to say, means that while there are many differences between the religious denominations that are presents, there is little difference between the people who follow them. He also puts strong emphasis on the relationship between modern liberal democracy in American and religious doctrine. In this regard, the author advocates the notion that while the American people are still very religious and indeed do take matters as such very seriously compared to many other nations, they have been able to shape religion to conform to their own unique notion of democratic equality.

Essay: Douglas Helped Abolish Slavery in America

Douglass was just like any other ordinary slave with dreams and wishes for freedom and a better life. However, he was different from them in that he dared follow his dream instead of being content with his lot in life.

He realized the importance of having an education and despite the fact that it was near impossible for blacks to be educated in those days; he used whatever means he had at his disposal to achieve his dream of knowing how to read and write. This opened his mind up and made him detest the life he was leading, thus giving him a desire to be free.

Essay: Ethical Communication

Keeble (2008) defines communication as “the imparting or interchange of thoughts, opinions, or information by speech, writing, or signs”. This objective gave me an insight on how customs affect our morals and perception some even leading to all forms of discrimination- racial, gender, religion, political, inter alia.

It is however in my interest that this objective provoked my mind to look at culture and ethical communication in a business setting, a field I aspire to fall into.

The Apple goals for its iphone are already mentioned in the strategic objectives section. However, strategy formulation determines steps on how to go about achieving those objectives. At the same the concept of strategy formulation also highlights the difference between a strategy and an objective.  There are various aspects and areas where Apple can formulate a strategy to ensure the sustainability of iphone in the market. This would take us into porter’s generic strategies (Kotler, Keller 13th Ed). It involves three strategies: Overall cost leadership, Differentiation and Focus. Using porter’s generic strategy for iphone we would use the differentiation strategy which in fact is the one that Apple currently uses for its iphone.
